Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 234:1

Abu Ya’la Ahmad ibn Ali ibn al-Muthanna al-Mawsili informed us, Abu Wa’il Khalid ibn Muhammad al-Basri narrated to us, Fahd ibn ‘Awf narrated to us at the residence of Banu ‘Amir, Na’il ibn Mutarrif ibn Razin ibn Anas al-Sulami narrated to us, he said: My father narrated to me, from my grandfather Razin ibn Anas, he said: When Islam appeared, we had a well, and I feared that those around us would overcome us for it. So I came to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and said: "O Messenger of Allah, we have a well, and I have feared that those around us will overcome us for it."
