Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 249:5

Mansur ibn Abi Muzahim narrated to us, Yazid ibn Yusuf narrated to us, from al-Awza'i, from Abu 'Ammar, from Wathilah ibn al-Asqa', who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Indeed, Allah chose the Banu Kinanah from the children of Isma'il, and He chose Quraysh from the Banu Kinanah, and He chose the Banu Hashim from Quraysh, and He chose me from the Banu Hashim."
