Hadith 53:5
Wahb ibn Baqiyyah narrated to us, Khalid informed us, from Dawud, from Abbas, from Kundayr ibn Sa'id, from his father, who said: I performed Hajj during the Jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic period), and there was a man circumambulating the House (the Ka'bah) reciting poetry: "Return my rider to me, Muhammad; return him to me and do me a favor." I asked, "Who is this?" They replied, "Abd al-Muttalib ibn Hashim. Some of his camels went missing, so he sent his son's son in search of them, but he was delayed. He had never sent him on an errand except that he brought it back." He said: I had not yet left when the Prophet (peace be upon him) arrived, bringing the camels. He (Abd al-Muttalib) said, "O my son, I have grieved for you this time with a grief that will never leave me."
