Ibrahim ibn al-Hajjaj narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, from Qatadah, Thabit, and Humayd, from Anas, who said: Prices became high during the time of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace). They said: "O Messenger of Allah, prices have become high, so set prices for us." He said: "Indeed, Allah is the Price-Setter, the Withholder, the Expander, the Provider. I truly hope that I meet Allah while none of you seeks from me any injustice regarding blood or wealth."
