حميد الطويل عن أنس بن مالك
Hadith 129:139
Zuhayr informed us, Yazid narrated to us, Humayd narrated from Anas that Abdullah bin Salam came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: "I am going to ask you about three things that no one knows except a prophet." He said: "Ask." He said: "What is the first of the matters of the Hour, or the signs of the Hour? And what is the first thing the people of Paradise will eat? And why does a child resemble its father and the child resemble its mother?" He said: "Gabriel informed me of them just now." He said: "Gabriel?" He said: "Yes." He said: "That is the enemy of the Jews among the angels." He said: "As for the first of the signs of the Hour, it is a fire that will emerge from the East and gather the people to the West. As for the first thing the people of Paradise will eat, it is the extra lobe of a whale's liver. And as for why the child resembles its father and the child resembles its mother: if the man's fluid precedes the woman's fluid, it resembles its father, and if the woman's fluid precedes the man's fluid, it resembles its mother." He said: "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that you are the Messenger of Allah." Then he said: "O Messenger of Allah, the Jews are a people of slander, so hide me from them, then ask them about me before they know of my Islam: what kind of man am I among them?" A group of them came, and the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said to them: "What kind of man is Abdullah among you?" They said: "Our best and the son of our best, our master and the son of our master, our most learned and the son of our most learned." He said: "What do you think if Abdullah becomes a Muslim?" They said: "May Allah protect him from that." Then Abdullah went out to them and said: "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah." They said: "Our worst and the son of our worst," and they said things like that. He said: "Abdullah said: 'O Messenger of Allah, this is what I feared.'"
أخبرنا زهير حدثنا يزيد حدثنا حميد عن أنس أن عبد الله بن سلام أتى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال * إني سائلك عن ثلاثة أشياء لا يعلمها إلا نبي قال سل قال ما أول أمر الساعة أو أشراط الساعة وما أول ما يأكل أهل الجنة وما ينزع الولد إلى أبيه والولد إلى أمه قال أخبرني بهن جبريل آنفا قال جبريل قال نعم قال ذاك عدو اليهود من الملائكة قال أما أول أشراط الساعة فنار تخرج من المشرق فتحشر الناس إلى المغرب وأما أول ما يأكل أهل الجنة فزيادة كبد حوت وأما ما ينزع الولد إلى أبيه وينزع الولد إلى أمه فإذا سبق ماء الرجل ماء المرأة نزع إلى أبيه وإذا سبق ماء المرأة ماء الرجل نزع إلى أمه قال أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله وأنك رسول الله ثم قال يا رسول الله إن اليهود قوم بهت فأختبئ لهم ثم سلهم عني قبل أن يعلموا بإسلامي أي رجل أنا فيهم فجاء نفر منهم فقال لهم رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أي رجل عبد الله فيكم قالوا خيرنا وبن خيرنا وسيدنا وبن سيدنا وأعلمنا وبن أعلمنا قال أرأيتم إن أسلم عبد الله قالوا أعاذه الله من ذلك قال فخرج عليهم عبد الله فقال أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله وأن محمدا رسول الله قالوا شرنا وبن شرنا ونحو ذلك قال يقول عبد الله يا رسول الله هذا الذي كنت أخاف
