Hadith 129:159
Zuhayr narrated to us, Abdullah bin Bakr al-Sahmi narrated to us, Humayd narrated to us, from Anas, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood for prayer. A man came after the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had stood [for prayer], so he walked quickly. He reached the people while he was panting or out of breath. When he reached the row, he said: "Praise be to Allah, a praise that is abundant, good, and blessed therein." When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) finished the prayer, he said: "Who is the speaker or the one who said the words?" The people remained silent. He said it again: "Who is he? For he did not say anything wrong," or he said, "He said something good." The man said: "I came, O Messenger of Allah, and I walked quickly. I reached the row while I was panting or out of breath, so I said what I said." He (the Prophet) said: "I saw twelve angels rushing to them, [each of them] trying to see which of them would raise it up to Him." Then he said: "When one of you comes to the prayer, let him walk with composure. Let him pray what he catches, and let him complete what he missed."
