Hadith 129:18
Al-Husayn ibn al-Aswad narrated to us, Muhammad ibn al-Salt narrated to me, Abu Khalid al-Ahmar narrated to us, from Humayd, from Anas, who said: When the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) would begin the prayer, he would say the takbir and raise his hands until his thumbs were level with his ears. Then he would say: "Glory be to You, O Allah, and with Your praise, and blessed is Your name, and exalted is Your majesty, and there is no god other than You."
