Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 129:19

Ibrahim ibn al-Hajjaj al-Sami narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, from Abu Imran al-Jawni and Humayd, from Anas ibn Malik, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I entered Paradise, and there I was at a palace of gold. I said, 'To whom does this palace belong?' It was said, 'To a young man from Quraysh.' I thought that I was him, so I said, 'And who is he?' It was said, 'Umar ibn al-Khattab.' By Allah, O Abu Hafs, nothing prevented me from entering it except what I know of your protective jealousy (ghayrah)." He (Umar) said, "O Messenger of Allah, upon whom would I have protective jealousy, when I would not have protective jealousy over you?" Hammad said: This is according to what people see.
