Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 129:23

Suwayd ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Malik, from Humayd al-Tawil, from Anas ibn Malik, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) forbade the selling of fruits until they *tuzhi* (show signs of ripening). It was said, "And what is *tuzhi*?" He said, "Until they turn red." The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said, "Have you considered, if Allah withholds the fruit, then by what right would one of you take the wealth of his brother?"
