Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 129:25

Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Numayr narrated to us, Abu Khalid narrated to us, he said: I heard Humayd from Anas that Abdullah ibn Salam asked the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace: "What is the first of the signs of the Hour?" He said: "Gabriel, peace be upon him, informed me that a fire will gather them from the direction of the east."
