Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 129:90

On the authority of Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was on a journey of his during Ramadan while he was fasting. He was brought a vessel of water, which he placed upon his hand, then he drank it while the people were looking, so they drank.
