Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 110:152

Abu Khaythama narrated to us, Hushaym narrated to us, from Abu Bishr, from Ikrimah, who said: I saw a man at the Maqam (Station of Ibrahim) saying the takbir (Allahu Akbar) in every rising and lowering. I met Ibn Abbas and said, "I saw a man saying the takbir in every rising and lowering." He said, "Is that not the prayer of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace? May Ikrimah have no mother (an expression of surprise/reproach)."
