Zuhayr narrated to us, Mu'awiyah narrated to us, Za'idah narrated to us, Simak ibn Harb narrated to us, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Avoid drinking from the gourd (al-dubba'), the glazed jar (al-hantam), and the pitch-coated vessel (al-muzaffat). Drink from the waterskin (al-siqa'). If you fear its strength (its fermentation), then dilute it with water."
