Zuhayr narrated to us, Yunus ibn Muhammad narrated to us, Dawud narrated to us, from Ibrahim al-Sa’igh, from ‘Ata’, from Ibn ‘Abbas, who said: The Prophet of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) prayed the Fitr [prayer] with the people, two rak’ahs, without an adhan. He delivered a sermon after the prayer. Then he took the hand of Bilal and went to the women and delivered a sermon to them. Then, after he had turned away from them, he ordered Bilal to go to them and command them to give charity.
