Zuhayr narrated to us, Hisham ibn Abd al-Malik narrated to us, Abu 'Awanah narrated to us, from Simak, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn Abbas, who said: The Prophet of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said to Ma'iz, "Is it true what has reached me about you?" He said, "And what has reached you about me?" He said, "It has reached me that you had intercourse with the slave girl of such-and-such family." He said, "Yes." He said, so he testified four testimonies, and he (the Prophet) ordered him, and he was stoned.
