Hadith 110:285
Amr ibn Husayn narrated to us, Yahya ibn al-Ala narrated to us, from Safwan ibn Sulaym, from Ata ibn Yasar, from Ibn Abbas, who said: When the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) looked into the mirror, he would say: "Praise be to Allah who perfected my creation and my character, and adorned in me what He disfigured in others." When he applied kohl, he would put two in each eye and one between them. When he put on his sandals, he would begin with the right, and when he took them off, he would take off the left. When he entered the mosque, he would enter with his right foot. He used to love starting with the right in everything, in taking and in giving.
