Amr ibn Husayn narrated to us, Yahya ibn al-Ala’ narrated to us, Abdullah ibn Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Abu Salih, from Ibn Abbas, who said: Sunday is a day of planting and building. Monday is a day of travel. Tuesday is a day of blood. Wednesday is a day of taking, and there is no giving in it. Thursday is a day of entering upon the ruler. Friday is a day of marriage and consummation.
