Ziyad ibn Ayyub Abu Hashim, known as Dalawayh, narrated to us, Yahya ibn Yaman narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Yazid ibn Abi Ziyad, from Miqsam, from Ibn Abbas, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) was cupped while he was in the state of Ihram on the two sides of the neck (al-akhda'ayn) and the upper back (al-kahil). He gave the cupper his wage, and had it been forbidden, he would not have given it to him.
