Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 110:52

Abu Bakr narrated to us, Ibn Numayr narrated to us, from Hajjaj, from al-Hakam, from Miqsam, from Ibn Abbas, who said: When the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, left Makkah, Ali took out the daughter of Hamzah. Ali, Zayd, and Ja’far disputed over her. Ali said: "She is the daughter of my brother, and I have more right to her." Ja’far said: "She is the daughter of my paternal uncle, and her maternal aunt is with me." Zayd said: "She is the daughter of my brother, for the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, established brotherhood between him and me." The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "O Zayd, you are my freedman (mawla) and their freedman." He said to Ali: "You are my brother and my companion." And he said to Ja’far: "You resemble my creation and my character." And she [the girl] is for her maternal aunt.
