Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 108:106

Muhammad ibn Abd Allah ibn Numayr narrated to us, Abu Usamah narrated to us, from Abd al-Hamid ibn Ja’far, from Yazid ibn Abi Habib, from ‘Ata, from Jabir ibn Abd Allah, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) on the day of the conquest of Makkah saying: "Indeed, Allah and His Messenger have prohibited the sale of wine, the sale of swine, the sale of carrion, and the sale of idols." A man said: "O Messenger of Allah, what is your opinion regarding the fat of carrion? For we grease ships with it, we grease hides with it, and we use it for lamps." He said: "May Allah fight the Jews! Indeed, when Allah prohibited its fat for them, they melted it down, then sold it, and consumed its price."
