Hadith 108:154

Zuhayr narrated to us, Jarir narrated to us, from Mughirah, from al-Sha'bi, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, who said: Abdullah ibn Amr ibn Haram died—or was martyred—and he had a debt upon him. I sought the help of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) against his creditors so that they might reduce his debt, but I requested them and they did not do so. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said to me: "Go and sort your dates into varieties: the Ajwah separately, and the 'Adhq Zayd separately, and [other] varieties." Then he said: "Then send for me." He said: So I did that, then I sent for the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace). He came and sat upon the top of it, or in the middle of it. Then he said: "Measure out for the people." He said: So I measured out for them until I had fulfilled what was theirs, and then my dates remained as if nothing had been diminished from them.
