Abdullah ibn Umar ibn Aban narrated to us, Mahbub narrated to us, from Usamah, from Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said while on the pulpit: "Ask Allah for beneficial knowledge, and seek refuge in Allah from knowledge that does not benefit."
