Hadith 108:26
'Abd al-A'la narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, from 'Ali ibn Zayd, from Abu al-Mutawakkil, from Jabir ibn 'Abd Allah: That the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to him during the expedition of Tabuk, while he was upon a red camel and the camel was lagging behind: "What is the matter with you, O Jabir?" I said: "O Messenger of Allah, my camel has lagged behind." So he came to it from its rear, prayed for it, and urged it on. It then came ahead of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). He said: "What has the camel done, O Jabir?" I said: "O Messenger of Allah, it has not ceased to be ahead of us since last night." He said: "For how much did you buy it?" I said: "For thirteen dinars." The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Sell it to me for the price you bought it for, and you shall have its back (the right to ride it) until Medina." So I did. When we arrived in Medina, I brought it to him, and he gave me the camel and the thirteen dinars.
