Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 108:62

Zuhayr narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, he heard ‘Amr [narrating] from Jabir, who said: When "Say, He is the [all] Powerful to send upon you punishment from above you" was revealed to the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), he said: "I seek refuge in Your Face." [The verse continued] "Or from beneath your feet," he said: "I seek refuge in Your Face." [The verse continued] "Or to confuse you [into] sects and make you taste the violence of one another." He said: "These two are lighter or easier."
