Abu Khaythama narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from ‘Amr, from Sulayman ibn Yasar, that Tariq judged regarding the *‘umra* (life-gift) that it belongs to the heir, based on the statement of Jabir from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. Abu Khaythama narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Abu al-Zubayr, who heard Jabir saying: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Whoever among you possesses land or date palms, let him not sell it until he offers it to his partner."
