Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 108:89

'Abd al-Ghaffar ibn 'Abd Allah narrated to us, al-Mu'afa ibn 'Imran narrated to us, al-Fudayl ibn Marzuq narrated to us, al-Walid—a man of goodness and righteousness—narrated to me, from Muhammad ibn 'Ali, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, from Jabir ibn 'Abd Allah, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying while he was on his pulpit on a Friday: "O people, repent to Allah before you die, and hasten to perform righteous deeds, and connect what is between you and your Lord by frequently remembering Him and by giving much charity in secret and in public, so that you may be rewarded, aided, and provided for. And know that Allah has obligated upon you the Friday prayer as a prescribed obligation on this day of mine, in this station of mine, in this month of mine, in this year of mine, until the Day of Resurrection. Whoever abandons it during my life or after my death, out of denial of it or out of belittling it, then may Allah not gather his affairs together, and may He not bless his matters. Beware, there is no prayer for him; beware, there is no zakat for him; beware, there is no Hajj for him, nor fasting for him; beware, there is no righteousness for him. Whoever repents, Allah will accept his repentance. A woman shall not lead a man in prayer, nor shall a Bedouin lead a Muhajir (emigrant) in prayer, nor shall a wicked person lead a righteous person in prayer, unless it is a ruler whose sword and whip are feared."
