Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 144:4

'Abd al-Rahman ibn Salih al-Azdi narrated to us, 'Ajlan ibn 'Abd Allah from the Banu 'Adi narrated to me, from Malik ibn Dinar, from Anas, who said: When death approached Abu Salamah, Umm Salamah said, "To whom are you entrusting me?" He said, "O Allah, You are for Umm Salamah better than Abu Salamah." When he passed away, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) proposed to her. She said, "I am of advanced age." He said, "I am older than you in age. As for the dependents, they are upon Allah and His Messenger. And as for jealousy, I hope that Allah will remove it from you." So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) married her, and he sent to her two hand-mills and a water jug.
