Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 54:14

Ahmad ibn Ibrahim al-Dawraqi narrated to us, Abu Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, Sa'id narrated to us, Abu Marhum Abd al-Rahim ibn Maymun narrated to me, from Sahl ibn Mu'adh ibn Anas al-Juhani, from his father, from the Prophet (peace be upon him): That he forbade the *habwah* (sitting with one's arms wrapped around one's legs) on the day of Jumu'ah while the Imam is delivering the sermon. Ibn al-Dawraqi said: Abu Abd al-Rahman said: "It is not well-known among the people, and people have always continued to sit in the *habwah* position."
