Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 115:203

Muhammad ibn Mahdi narrated to us, Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar informed us, from Qatadah, from Anas, who said: A group from 'Ukl and 'Uraynah—this is how Ma'mar said it—came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). They spoke about Islam, then they came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and mentioned that they were people of livestock and not people of the countryside, and they found the climate of Medina unsuitable and complained to the Prophet (ﷺ) about its epidemic. The Prophet (ﷺ) ordered for them a herd of camels and ordered a shepherd for them, and he said: "Go out from Medina and drink from their urine and their milk." They departed and settled in the area of al-Harrah, then they disbelieved after their Islam, killed the shepherd, and drove away the herd. The Prophet (ﷺ) sent in pursuit of them, and they were brought. He cut off their hands and their feet and branded their eyes, and they were left in the area of al-Harrah biting its stones until they died. Qatadah said: It reached us that this verse was revealed concerning them: "The recompense of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and strive upon earth [to cause] corruption..." (Al-Ma'idah) until the end of the verse.
