Narrated to us 'Abd al-Wahid, narrated to us Hammad ibn Salamah, from Qatadah, from Anas, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) would pass by a date, and nothing prevented him from taking it except the fear that it might be charity.
