Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 115:286

Ubayd Allah narrated to us, Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Hisham, from Qatadah, from Anas: That the Prophet (ﷺ) used to strike for [the consumption of] Khamr (intoxicants) with sandals and palm branches, and Abu Bakr would flog with his hand. When it was the time of Umar, and the people drew near to the villages and the countryside, he mentioned that to his companions. Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf said, "Make it like the lightest of the prescribed punishments (Hadd)." He said, "So he flogged [them] eighty [lashes]."
