Hadith 115:330
Abu Musa narrated to us, Abd al-A’la narrated to us, Sa’id narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Anas, that a group from ‘Ukl and ‘Uraynah came to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) and said: "O Messenger of Allah, we were people of livestock and we were not people of the countryside." He said: So they found the climate of Medina unsuitable. He ordered for them a herd of camels and a shepherd, that they should go out with them and drink from their urine and their milk. They killed the shepherd of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) and drove away the herd, and they disbelieved after their Islam. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) sent in pursuit of them. They were brought, so he cut off their hands and their feet, and branded their eyes, and left them in the rocky tract (al-Harrah) until they died.
