مسند قتادة بن النعمان

Hadith 76:2

Yahya ibn Abd al-Hamid al-Hummani narrated to us, Abd al-Rahman ibn Sulayman ibn Ghasil narrated to us, from Asim ibn Umar ibn Qatadah, from his father—meaning from Qatadah ibn al-Nu'man—that his eye was struck on the day of Badr, and his eyeball flowed onto his cheek. They wanted to cut it off, so he asked the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. He said, "No." Then he called for him and pressed his eyeball back with his palm. Thereafter, it could not be known which of his two eyes had been struck.
