Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 74:1

Sa'id ibn 'Abd al-Jabbar narrated to us in Basra, al-Mughirah ibn 'Abd al-Rahman al-Hizami narrated to us, Abu al-Zinad narrated to us, from Muraqqa' ibn Sayfi, from his grandfather Rabah ibn Rabi', who said: We were with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, on a military expedition, and Khalid ibn al-Walid was at the vanguard of the people. Then there was a killed woman on the road, and they were marveling at her creation, for the vanguard had reached her. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, came and stood over her, then said: "This one was not fighting." Then he said to a man: "Overtake Khalid, and let him not kill offspring nor a hired laborer."
