Zuhayr narrated to us, Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated to us, from Sulaym ibn Hayyan, Ikrimah ibn Khalid narrated to us that Yahya ibn Sa'd narrated to him, from his father, who said: The plague was mentioned in the presence of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and he said: "It is a scourge with which those who were before you were afflicted. So if it occurs in a land and you are in it, do not depart from it, and if it is in it, do not enter it."
