Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 6:49

Ahmad ibn Ibrahim al-Dawraqi narrated to us, Abu Bakr al-Hanafi narrated to us, Bukayr ibn Mismar narrated to us, from Amir ibn Sa’d, that his father, Sa’d, was among his camels and sheep. His son, Umar, came to him. When he saw him, he said, "I seek refuge in Allah from the evil of this rider." When he reached him, he said, "Are you content to be a Bedouin among your camels and sheep, while the people in Medina are disputing over the kingdom?" He struck his chest with his hand and said, "O my son, be silent, for I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: 'Indeed, Allah loves the pious, wealthy, hidden servant.'"
