Zuhayr narrated to us, Yahya ibn Abi Bukayr narrated to us, Sufyan ibn ‘Uyaynah narrated to us, al-‘Ala’ ibn Abi al-‘Abbas narrated to me, he said: I heard Abu al-Tufayl narrating from Bakr ibn Qirwash from Sa‘d ibn Malik that he heard the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, mention—meaning Dhu al-Thudayyah, who was found with the people of the river—and he said: "A devil of a depression (rahdah), whom a man from Bajilah will bring down, who is called al-Ashhab or the son of al-Ashhab, a sign among a people of oppression." Sufyan said: ‘Ammar al-Duhni said when he narrated it: A man from us from Bajilah brought him, and he said: I see him as so-and-so from Dahn, who is called al-Ashhab or the son of al-Ashhab.
