Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 6:78

Hadaba ibn Khalid narrated to us, Aban ibn Yazid narrated to us, Yahya ibn Abi Kathir narrated to us, that al-Hadrami ibn Lahiq narrated to him, that Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib narrated from the hadith of Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) used to say: "There is no Hama (an owl or a superstition regarding it), no contagion, and no bad omen. If there were to be anything in omens, it would be in the woman, the horse, and the house." And he used to say: "If the plague is in a land, do not enter it, and if it is in a land while you are in it, do not flee from it."
