Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 6:90

Abu Khaythama narrated to us, Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah narrated to us, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, from 'Amir ibn Sa'd, from his father, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Verily, I give to a man, while another is more beloved to me than him, for fear that he might be cast upon his face into the Fire."
