Shayban ibn Farrukh narrated to us, [he said] 'Aqabah ibn 'Abdullah al-Rifa'i al-Asamm narrated to us, from al-Ja'd Abu 'Uthman, he said: Anas ibn Malik prayed in the mosque of Banu Rifa'ah here, and he ordered a man from his companions to call the adhan, so he led them in the morning prayer. When he finished his prayer, he turned to the people and said: "When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would pray with his companions, he would turn to the people and say: 'O Allah, I seek refuge in You from a deed that disgraces me. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from wealth that makes me transgress. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from a companion who brings about my ruin. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from a matter that distracts me. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from poverty that makes me forget.'"
