Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 41:15

Abu al-Rabi' al-Zahrani narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, from Hisham ibn 'Urwah, from his father, that Arwa bint Aws claimed against Sa'id ibn Zayd that he had taken something of her land. She disputed with him before Marwan ibn al-Hakam. Sa'id said, "Would I take anything of her land after what I heard from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)?" He (Marwan) said, "And what did you hear from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)?" He said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: 'Whoever takes a span of land [unjustly], it will be tied around his neck to the seven earths.'" Marwan said to him, "I will not ask you for evidence after this." He (Sa'id) said, "O Allah, if she is a liar, then blind her sight and kill her in her land." He said: She did not die until her sight was gone. While she was walking on her land, she fell into a pit and died.
