Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 41:19

Ibrahim ibn al-Hajjaj al-Sami narrated to us, Abd al-Wahid ibn Ziyad narrated to us, Sadaqah ibn al-Muthanna al-Nakha'i narrated to us, my grandfather Riyah ibn al-Harith narrated to me, he said: We were with al-Mughirah ibn Shu'bah while he was in the mosque, and the people of Kufa were with him. Then Sa'id ibn Zayd came, and al-Mughirah made space for him and said, "Here, sit," and he seated him with him on the couch. Sa'id ibn Zayd said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "Indeed, lying about me is not like lying about anyone else. Whoever lies about me intentionally, let him take his seat in the Fire."
