Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 41:3

Al-Qawariri narrated to us, Yazid bin Zuray' narrated to us, Muhammad bin Ishaq narrated to us, al-Zuhri narrated to me, from Talha bin Abdullah bin 'Awf, who said: Arwa bint Aws came to us among a group of Quraysh, among whom was Abd al-Rahman bin Sahl. She said: "I would like for you to go to Sa'id bin Zayd and speak to him and remind him, for he has encroached upon my land into his land." So we stood up and went to Sa'id until we reached him on his land in al-'Aqiq. He came out to us and said: "I already know what brought you. Arwa bint Aws came to you and said that I encroached upon her land into my land with what is not mine. I will narrate to you what I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: 'Whoever takes any of the land that is not his, it will be tied around his neck to the seventh earth.' And I heard him say: 'Whoever fights for his property and is killed, he is a martyr.'" He said: So we said: "No, by Allah, we will never speak to you about this ever again." He said: Then we mounted our animals and departed.
