Ahmad ibn al-Miqdam narrated to us, Abdullah ibn Ja'far narrated to us, he said: Al-'Ala' ibn Abd al-Rahman narrated to me, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was building the mosque. When the people would carry one stone, 'Ammar would carry two stones, and when they would carry one brick, he would carry two bricks. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Woe to the son of Sumayyah; the rebellious faction will kill him."
