Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Sahm al-Antaki narrated to us, Abdullah ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from Sa'id ibn Abi Sa'id al-Maqburi, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "None of you awaits anything except wealth that makes one insolent, or poverty that causes one to forget, or illness that causes one to become senile, or death that cuts everything off, or the Dajjal—and the Dajjal is the worst hidden thing to be awaited—or the Hour, and the Hour is more calamitous and more bitter."
