Zakariya ibn Yahya al-Wasiti narrated to us, Hushaym narrated to us, from Zakariya, from al-Sha'bi, from Abu Hurayrah, who attributed the hadith [to the Prophet (ﷺ)], he said: The pledged animal is to be ridden and fed, and the milk of the nursing animal is to be drunk, and upon the one who drinks it is the [responsibility of] maintenance and fodder.
