Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 160:251

A man was killed during the time of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) as a martyr. A woman wept over him and said, "Oh, martyr!" The Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said, "Desist. What makes you know that he is a martyr? Perhaps he used to speak about what did not concern him, and was stingy with what did not diminish him."
