Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 160:63

Yahya ibn Ayyub narrated to us, Isma'il narrated to us, from al-'Ala', from his father, from Abu Hurayrah: That the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Charity does not decrease wealth, and Allah does not increase a servant in pardoning except in honor, and no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah except that Allah raises him."
