Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 160:73

Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, Yahya ibn Muhammad ibn Qays narrated to us, he said: I heard al-‘Ala’ narrating from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The sun has neither risen nor set upon a day better than the day of Friday. There is no creature but that it is afraid of the day of Friday, except for these two heavy ones: the jinn and mankind. At every door of the doors of the mosque are two angels writing down whoever comes first, then first. [It is] like a man who offered a camel, and like a man who offered a cow, and like a man who offered a sheep, and like a man who offered a chicken or a bird. When the Imam comes out, the angels sit and listen to the remembrance, and the scrolls are folded."
