Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 139:16

Abu Khaythama narrated to us, Ismail narrated to us, from Sulayman al-Taymi, Anas ibn Malik narrated to us: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said on the day of Badr, "Who will see what Abu Jahl has done?" So Ibn Mas'ud set out and found that the two sons of 'Afra' had struck him until he became cold. He said, "Are you Abu Jahl?" He replied, "Is there anyone above a man whom you have killed?" Sulayman said, "Or his people killed him."
